Seeking a versatile Maintenance Excellence Engineer with specialized expertise in data science. Will play a crucial role in managing and extracting insights from critical data related to maintenance, capital projects, and turnarounds. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Maintenance Engineering and Data Science Integration: Lead the integration of data-driven decision-making into maintenance processes for optimizing equipment reliability.
Ø Manage and extract actionable insights from critical data related to maintenance, capital projects, and turnarounds using maintenance engineering and data science methodologies.
Ø Data Exploration and Analysis:
· Conduct data exploration and analysis to uncover meaningful patterns and trends, providing real-time insights for operational decision-making.
Ø Algorithm Development and Predictive Modeling:
· Develop and implement advanced algorithms and data models to forecast outcomes, supporting effective planning and resource allocation.
· Utilize machine learning techniques to continually enhance the accuracy and relevance of predictive models.
Ø Machine Learning Integration:
· Lead machine learning integration efforts to improve the quality of data and enhance product offerings.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Ø Communication and Decision-Making:
· Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to various teams and senior leadership.
· Play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Ø Data Tools Deployment and Optimization:
· Deploy a variety of data tools, including Python, R, SAS, and SQL, to conduct thorough data analysis.
· Implement and optimize data tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Ø Project Management:
· Spearhead end-to-end lifecycle management of non-capital and small capital plant projects, driving projects from root cause identification through technical evaluation, design, field execution, and implementation.
Ø Continuous Learning and Knowledge Sharing:
· Stay abreast of innovations in the data science field and actively incorporate new methodologies into daily practices.
· Share knowledge and insights with the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
v Bachelor's, Master's, in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, etc.).
v Mid to senior-level experience in a data science role, with a track record of successfully delivering impactful projects.
v Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a strong understanding of industry-specific data and challenges.
v Proficiency in Python, R, SAS, SQL, and other relevant tools.
v Experience in developing and implementing machine learning models.
v Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
v Proven ability to find insights that drive strategic decision-making.
v Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
v Ability to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
v Enthusiastic about staying current with innovations in the data science field and integrating new methodologies to improve processes.
