Job Summary and Qualifications

The Maintenance Engineer demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to perform installations, maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance and project installations in all general areas of maintenance. All work is for the hospital, equipment and grounds (excluding gardening and cleaning work). He specifies and requests the necessary supplies to accomplish the assigned tasks. What qualifications you will need:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Approved apprenticeship program preferred
• Minimum of 5 years in general hospital maintenance (will consider construction Experience, if qualified)
