Maintenance Director (Full-Time)

We are looking to hire a Full-Time Maintenance Director in our Assisted Living Community.

Maintenance Director Principal Responsibilities:

1. Promptly address community maintenance needs, priority, and emergency repairs.

2. Ensure proper Maintenance service documentation.

3. Work directly on special projects as assigned by the Executive Director.

4. Undertake with staff small plumbing, electrical, painting and small carpentry projects with all work to code.

5. Assist with grounds maintenance and landscaping.

6. Participate in daily meetings if appropriate.

7. Available to respond promptly to community’s emergency maintenance calls.

8. Participate and conduct maintenance and housekeeping training.

9. Performs general maintenance tasks, work orders and repairs that are not contracted out.

10. Responsible for preparation of “rent ready” apartments in a timely manner.

11. Checks the maintenance log for pending repairs and projects and maintains the logbook.

12. Assist with landscaping and maintenance projects as assigned.

13. Perform daily and emergency maintenance as required by maintenance work orders.

14. Embody a team environment that promotes communication, innovation, customer service and respect to residents, families, vendors, and co-workers.

15. Oversee and Manage maintenance and housekeeping teams.

* 2 + years of experience

* Experience in Assisted Living

* Must have an open/ flexible schedule
