Schedule: Full time, 8-hour shifts

Essential Duties:
Perform varied duties including performing data entry functions.
Enter work requests and preventative maintenance information into maintenance management systems.
Receive, record and distribute work orders to maintenance staff as directed by supervisor.
Perform duties including typing correspondence, form letters, accountability forms, status reports and other required forms in a timely manner.
Maintain files on department records, forms and correspondence sent, received and/or requiring further action.
Schedule vendors as directed by supervisor to perform work outside the scope of facility staff.
Proofread records or forms; copy needed information from one record to another as required.
Request and track merchandise, supplies, parts, and equipment needed for facility maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent (GED).
One (1) year related experience, including proficiency with various word processing, spreadsheets, data bases, and computer data entry experience preferred.
A valid drivers license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
Must successfully complete annual background checks and in-service training requirements, both of which must be approved by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ).
