The Job Details:
- Perform daily equipment inspections and necessary maintenance repairs.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Maintain organization and inventory of Maintenance Shop.
- Perform building maintenance and maintain outside grounds with routine inspections of lighting, filters, vents, etc.
- Prepares building for season changes.
- Maintains proper appearance of building by cleaning, painting, and repairing.
- Responsible for any routine maintenance or operational task assigned.
- General housekeeping of maintenance shops and work areas.
- Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of dock levelers, doors, tilt tables, stretch wrap machines, plumbing, etc.
- Always maintain a professional manner in appearance and communications.
- Participate in staff and/or customer meetings if required.
- Participate in training for safety processes and skill learning.
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process, and quality systems.
- Identify and record any issues relating to product, processes and/or quality.
- Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through appropriate channels.

What We Are Looking For:Education
- High School Degree / GED Required
- Some College Preferred
Experience
- Previous warehouse maintenance experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of electrical (PLC's relay logic and motor controls), hydraulics, mechanics, and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and plumbing
- Basic hand tool knowledge and know-how
