JOB DUTIES:
A great candidate with a positive attitude to contribute to the maintenance team. Must be knowledgeable with basic electrical. Capable of working 8 plus hours, Mon. – Fri. afternoon shift, with competitive pay in a stable environment as well as steady work. Capable of fixing a variety of equipment while learning and building knowledge in a secure company. Work independently within the framework of your work environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Prefer a Boiler License but will work with you to achieve. Prefer a building utility maintenance course as well. A Minnesota Class D Driver’s license.
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and eighteen months experience; or 24-36 months related experience and/or training. The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. The ability to write routine reports and correspondence. The ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration.
