Position Summary:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Technician will participate in electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance activities within the facility. Manufacturing experience required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Candidate will diagnose problems in production machinery and equipment and recommend corrective actions.
· Collaborates with Plant Manager to schedule preventative maintenance activities.
· Multi-skilled talent to include: Electrical, PLC troubleshooting or programming, robotics maintenance, pneumatics, DC motors.
· Test and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment or systems.
· Repair and maintain machinery and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematic drawings, diagrams, operations manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
· Modify, engineer, or fabricate tools and equipment.
· Calibrates equipment, electronically and mechanically.
· Comprehends technical literature (i.e. equipment and operating manuals), safety literature (i.e. lockout/tagout procedures, safety bulletins), and plant policies.
· Understands production processes and operation of machinery for troubleshooting purposes.
· Fabricate and machine components to repair jigs, fixtures and parts (metal, plastic, and wood) for projects, equipment repair, maintenance work orders, and machine modifications.
· Assist in preventative maintenance (PM) program for all equipment and facilities that will minimize disruptions in plant operations and ensure the maximum useful life of the equipment.
· Monitor all material handling equipment maintenance activities, making certain that equipment is serviced as required.
· Oversee and perform daily housekeeping duties in maintenance shop. Maintain and cleanup work area after repair or install has been completed.
· Monitors and enforces safety requirements.
· Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma, plus 2-4 years technical training. A minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, industrial, or a related field; Electrical industry experience a plus.

Pay: $22.20 - $26.73 per hour
