Overall Purpose: The Machinist A - Tube Bender will set up and operate both CNC and hydraulic Tube Benders in order to complete parts for Production and Engineering.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Alpine, Pines, and PHI Tube Benders
- Program CNC Tube Bender (Alpine)
- Recognize blue print deficiencies
- Solve shop math related problems
- Set up all conventional mills/lathes
- Complete dimensional inspection reports
- Complete in-process inspections
- Properly document labor report, job travelers and other daily reports in a timely manner
- Crosstrain in other areas as needed
- Clean work areas
- Follow both verbal and written instructions
- Adhere to 5S Standards
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, policies for attendance and punctuality and standards for safety
