Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Machine Vision Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Industrial Automation. As a Machine Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Machine Vision systems for a wide range of applications, from quality control to process optimization.
Strong experience in Cognex and Keyence vision products, coupled with proficiency in programming languages such as C# and Python, is crucial. This remote position provides flexibility for remote work while requiring occasional travel (approximately 25%) to collaborate at our office in Northwest Ohio and to customer facilities for installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Machine Vision algorithms and solutions for Industrial Automation applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, occasionally on-site, to integrate vision systems into existing manufacturing processes.
- Optimize and fine-tune vision algorithms for accuracy and efficiency in real-world manufacturing environments.
- Develop software to control and interface with Machine Vision systems.
- Perform calibration and testing of Machine Vision systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Provide technical support, training, and on-site assistance (~25% travel) to internal teams and end-users.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Machine Vision Engineering within Industrial Automation.
- Familiarity with image processing techniques, deep learning, and computer vision algorithms.
- Proficient programming skills, with expertise in C# and OOP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong experience with Cognex and Keyence vision products is strongly preferred.
- Experience in Industrial Automation and control systems is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
