Machine Vision Applications Engineer

• Design and implement proof of concept applications utilizing C++ and C# to showcase the capabilities of Machine Vision solutions.
• Enhance user experience by crafting Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) that optimize and streamline interactions with Machine Vision Applications.
• Evaluate and recommend solutions through comprehensive technical feasibility studies, ensuring the viability and effectiveness of proposed applications.
• Customize and configure industrial PC and camera systems according to specific customer requirements, tailoring solutions to meet unique project needs.
• Develop bespoke software applications to address individual customer needs, ensuring seamless integration and functionality within their existing systems.
• Provide on-site support by traveling throughout the territory, collaborating with customers to implement and optimize Machine Vision solutions, ensuring successful and efficient outcomes.

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Develop proof of concept applications using C++ and C#.
• Create Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) to enhance user interaction.
• Conduct technical feasibility studies to evaluate and recommend solutions.
• Configure industrial PC and camera systems based on customer requirements.
• Develop customer-specific software applications tailored to their needs.
• Travel throughout the territory to assist customers in implementing and optimizing solutions.

• Application Development Timelines: Meet or exceed established deadlines for the development and delivery of Machine Vision Applications.
• Customer Support Response Time: Ensure timely response and resolution to customer inquiries and issues related to Machine Vision Applications.
• On-site Implementation Efficiency: Optimize on-site support efforts to efficiently implement and optimize Machine Vision solutions for customers.

• Project Budget Adherence: Adhere to allocated project budgets for Machine Vision application development, minimizing any cost overruns.
• Resource Utilization: Efficiently utilize resources to minimize costs associated with configuring industrial PC and camera systems while meeting customer requirements.

• Primary language used in daily operations is English. Additional primary company languages include Spanish, French, and Dutch.
• Read and interpret documents, procedure manuals and various correspondence from both internal and external.
• Speak effectively, both individually and before groups of both external customers and/or various levels of employees within the organization.

• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

• Technical knowledge of PCs, PCI/PCI Express, and peripherals (USB, Gigabit Ethernet, etc.).
• Expertise in C++ or C#, experience in Python a plus.
• Machine vision or image processing experience a plus.
