Job Description
We are looking for a Project Manager that has experience in the Welding/Machining/Fabrication world. This experience drives this position, as quoting will be involved, and if the candidate has not been around welding and machining, they would not have an understanding of how to quote that kind of work.
Responsibilities
•Provide accurate quotes to current and potential clients, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
•Cultivate high-quality sales leads, nurture them through initial contacts, negotiating prices, securing orders, and coordinating deliveries.
•Meet and exceed sales quotas consistently, driving revenue growth.
•Collaborate closely with clients to conceptualize project requirements, define scope, and establish objectives.
•Anticipate resource needs to achieve project objectives, and effectively manage resources.
•Develop comprehensive project budgets aligned with project scope and resource requirements.
•Create and manage detailed project schedules and work plans utilizing diverse project management methodologies.
•Liaise closely with the Procurement Manager to procure materials necessary for projects and resolve any material-related challenges.
•Monitor projects in the manufacturing facility to ensure timely completion and delivery, providing progress reports to clients as necessary.
•Ensure project budgets are adhered to, maintaining profitability and cost control throughout.
•Assess new build plans and refine production procedures for optimal efficiency.
•Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, proactively addressing key milestones and resource constraints.
•Engage with clients to comprehend project requirements thoroughly and clarify expectations.
•Review completed projects for billing accuracy, invoicing, and overall client satisfaction.
•Collaborate with the Quality Manager to ensure products meet stringent quality standards and exceed client expectations.
•Assess project performance, identify areas for enhancement, and implement improvements as needed.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or relevant field, or equivalent experience in sales and technology.
•Previous experience in a management role preferred.
•Exceptional organizational abilities with acute attention to detail.
•Proficiency in Solidworks and MRP systems.
•Outstanding interpersonal skills with a knack for building strong client relationships.
•Ability to effectively coordinate across multiple departments and stakeholders.
•Demonstrated leadership capabilities and problem-solving acumen.
•Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Pay
$65K - $80K Per Year
Schedule
Monday – Friday | Flexibility based on project demands
