Machine Operator/Setup - Grinder

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator/Setup - Grinder to join our team at our facility in Franklin Park, IL. As a Machine Operator/Setup - Grinder, you will be responsible for operating and setting up various grinding machines, including OD/ID Grinding Machine, Cylindrical Grinder Machine, ID Grinder Machine, and CNC Grinder. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine setups for production runs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to read blueprints. Experience with Studer machines is preferred.

• Operate and set up OD/ID Grinding Machine, Cylindrical Grinder Machine, ID Grinder Machine, and CNC Grinder
• Perform machine setups for production runs
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate grinding specifications
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

• Experience operating OD/ID Grinding Machine, Cylindrical Grinder Machine, ID Grinder Machine, and CNC Grinder
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting grinding specifications
• Strong machine setup skills for production runs
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience with Studer machines is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
