Job Description
Experienced Industrial Printing Machine Operators $17/hr
PLEASE READ: We are looking to strengthen the team and are not open to trainees currently. You must have 2+ years of print/mail processing experience or a strong work history with 5+ years of skilled machine operating to be considered at this time.
(Starting pay past $17/hr would require proven printing experience). This printing facility is in Greenville not far from Easley, Taylors, or Travelers Rest.
Flexibility with the schedule is a must. Training on 1st shift is required (7am to 3:30pm) and then you will be moved to 2nd or 3rd shift. NOTE: Shifts can go from 8 to 10 to even 12hrs as needed. Open availability is needed.
Strict attendance policy - Please only apply if you have reliable transportation and are dependable by nature. Note: You MUST have a valid DL, own a reliable vehicle, and possess a stable job history to be considered. A drug test and criminal background are required.
3rd shift - 11pm to 7:30am
Training on 1st pays $16/hr and the starting pay for 2nd & 3rd shift is $17/hr.
Summary: Machine Operator
Essential Functions:
Set-up, Operating and Maintenance
Able to operate machine(s) independently for all types of jobs
Able to set up basic jobs
Consistently achieves expected throughput/efficiency
Able to run 100% mail well for critical clients
Self-motivated individual who strives to improve and continually achieve better results
Trouble-shoot equipment
Provide proper adjustments to meet established hourly production standards
Ensure proper sorting according to USPS requirements
Reconciling/recording for all output
Accurately use job data capture to track time
Quality
Strong quality of work
Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area
Effectively use the quality control procedures monitoring quality of the final output
Reviews schedule for jobs assigned daily; reports issues back to Supervisor
Follow all plant, department and work area safety rules and operation procedures
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Excellent attendance record and punctuality
Position requires High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of USPS regulations
Ability to read and understand job tickets
Ability to use powered material handling equipment and stack pallets
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Work Environment: Production Facility
Physical Demands:
Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions
Security Clearance: This Client is a Federal Contractor and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
