Collins Aerospace - Spokane, we are hiring for Machine Operator I in our Textiles Department. Collins is an industry leader in the research, development and production of Carbon brake components for the aerospace industry.

Shift: Our Operators love our 4 on - 4 off schedule, 6:00am - 6:00pm, rotating between day/night shift every 4-8 weeks.

The salary range for this role is $36,899.20 to $49,920 with an additional 16 hours/month in average of built-in overtime; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.

+$2.25/hr shift differential

+$3500.00 Sign On Bonus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Observe and follow all environmental, health and safety procedures.
• Adhere to all engineering instruction, standard operation procedures, and all departmental procedures
• Learn and assist with data entry requirements and process documentation
• Learn and perform Equipment Preventative Maintenance
• Learn how to operate support equipment such as: Forklifts, Scissor Lifts, Power Tools, etc
• Learn the environment control system and know the requirements
• Complete department training program in the time allotted
• Meet the target productivity levels established for the department
• Complete tasks as assigned by your management team
• Assist other departments as necessary with approval from your management team
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Comply with all other company policies and procedures

Training provided to operate the following equipment and tools:

• Big Joe
• Riveters both manual and automated
• Scales, calipers, micrometers
• Bar Code Scanning Equipment
• Various tools (mixes, hotplates, etc.)
• Automated Oxidation coating station
• Oxidation bake out Ovens
• Power and pneumatic equipment

  Basic Qualifications:

• HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required

• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Production or manufacturing experience is highly desired.

• Familiarity with process controls: Exposure to Distributive Control System (DCS) and procedures. Drawing requirements (Assembly).
