Job Description:
About the Role:
The Machine Operator role at our Northlake, TX location will add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
- Performs adjustments or repairs, such as opening valves, changing formers and sealing jaw knives, setting guides, temperature controls, nitrogen/ oxygen fill ratios, and other machine related functions.
- Inspects and records all quality checks in computer dbase and aligns machine packaging output to comply with quality specifications on an order-by-order basis.
- Lubricate, sanitize, troubleshooting, make minor mechanical adjustments, and perform preventive maintenance on packaging line as needed.
- Operate machinery and job tasks using proper safety practices and protocols. Report any unsafe and near-mis incidents to management.
- Coffee management system and dbase ‐ RF gun transactions for traceability and performance tracking.
Important Details: The position is a full time, permanent role for Day Shift, 12 hours structure shift from Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am - 7:30 pm.
About You:
- 1 – 2 years of Machine Operator experience required.
- Knowledge of tools, machines, safety precautions in an industrial/ manufacturing setting.
- Ability to use knowledge, creativity, and initiative in recommending or implementing improvements in efficiency or safety of the work area.
- Critical thinking and ability to communicate effectively.
