Cnc Swiss Operator

POSITION SUMMARY:

Arrowhead Machining, Inc. seeks a motivated, self-starter CNC Swiss Lathe Operator to help support continued growth the successful candidate will know about Swiss turning methods, techniques, tooling, and software.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Operate DMG Sprint Swiss-type CNC machines.

· Processing of materials/products which includes machine loading, cutting, deburring, and polishing.

· Demonstrate ability to use and interpret measuring devices and equipment.

· Conduct in-process inspection to ensure high-quality standards are met.

· Exhibit strong communication and organizational skills.

· Knowledge of machining processes using applicable tools

· Work cooperatively with other team members to meet quotas and goals.

· Mechanical aptitude and sound math skills

· Ability to read and interpret drawings

· Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

· Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; and reporting necessary repairs to the Department Lead.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum 1 year of Swiss experience, willing to train.

· Mechanically inclined with a good working attitude, a Self-Starter

· Ability to follow Complex and Multiple instructions

· Have a working knowledge of Common hand tools

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

· High school diploma or GED

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

· Background check.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
