We are currently seeking a high quality, career-minded Manufacturing Technician to produce premium Elite Abrasives products and meet these high expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience with highly automated machines, an ability to independently problem solve, and a focus on productive output.
The Manufacturing Technician will play a key role in maintaining our company's relationships with major American manufacturers and wholesalers, by providing consistency and quality. - Program, setup and operate multiple machines to produce parts per specification for company products with limited supervision;
- Convert and manufacture company products, according to procedures, to meet or exceed company standards by operating automated equipment and machinery;
- Insure accuracy and uniformity throughout the manufacturing process using analytical skills and high attention to detail;
- Read technical drawings and develop custom programs for finished goods;
- Produce consistent parts with tolerances of .0002" per piece;
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills;
- Provide general preventative maintenance services to machines; and
- Repair and troubleshooting of machines, as needed, with management approval.
- Responsible for setting up and tearing down equipment every morning and afternoon;
- Collaborate, communicate, and work effectively within a business work team setting. This includes maintaining a flexible and cooperative attitude toward business fluctuations and customer requests;
- Responsible for obeying all safety regulations, operating instructions and work rules and policies;
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum two years' experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Knowledge of basic mathematical concepts;
Preferred:
- Knowledge of abrasives and applications;
- Proficiency working with MS Office; and
- Proficiency working with QuickBooks.
