Skilled Machine Operator / Grinder
Job Summary:
Are you a skilled Machine Operator with experience in operating and maintaining grinding machines? Join our team at Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in BREMEN, IN. As a Machine Operator/Grinder, you will play a crucial role in setting up and operating grinding machines with precision and efficiency. This dynamic role requires attention to detail, mechanical expertise, and a commitment to upholding strict safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate grinding machines following established procedures and guidelines.
Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to optimize machine performance.
Ensure the highest quality of output by inspecting and discarding defective items
Interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings to meet specifications.
Uphold safety protocols and workplace policies for a secure work environment.
Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a skilled Machine Operator, preferably in grinding operations
- Proficiency in operating diverse high-speed machinery and using measurement tools (e.g., caliper, micrometer)
- Strong technical aptitude and experience with grinding tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, and a focus on quality control
- Physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
- Commitment to safety practices; familiarity with OSHA regulations is a plus
