Record your time with the the Paychex Flex application upon arrival to work and punch out any time you leave the building. If you are unable to work you must call in at least 30 minutes before your scheduled start time. Report to work as scheduled in clean apparel free from potential contaminants such as shirt buttons, sequins, or glitter. Always wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (Safety toe shoes, safety glasses, face mask, hairnet, and beard net) in the production area. Safety shoes are not to be worn on the journey to work. Attend the pre-production staff meeting at the start of each shift to receive work instructions from the Shift Supervisor. Ensure that the Shift Supervisor always knows your location during work hours. Complete job orders at your assigned operation according to the Production Floor Traveler. Maintain quality, safety and hygeine standards throughout the shift. Record your labor hours, quantity complete, quantity scrap on the Shop Floor Manager software. Main tasks:
Manufacturing and packing of paper products as instructed by the Shift Supervisor and company management.
Follow work instructions on the Production Floor Traveller.
Complete job order paperwork and record time, quantity complete and notes on the Shop Floor Manager.
Follow company regulations regarding hygiene & safety.
Follow procedures as defined in the Operators manual.
Assist with warehousing, maintenance, and other related tasks.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness, observing the ‘clean as you go’ policy and following the cleaning procedures and instructions.
Empty waste receptacles when full and at the end of each shift.
Clearly label all finished goods and work in process material and transport the material to the next workstation.
Report any quality, maintenance, or safety issues immediately to the Shift Supervisor.
Report all injuries, no matter how small to the Shift Supervisor and use the bandage log whenever first-aid is needed.
Follow the Good Manufacturing Practices and work in accordance to the BRCGS Packaging & Packaging Materials Certification.
