Welder Job Duties:

• Read, interpret, follow and understand standard work, blueprints, and machine drawings
• Safely and efficiently drill, tap, shear and perform other machining operations using both NC and CNC equipment
• Safely and efficiently brake, bend and form metal using various manual, NC and CNC equipment
• Operate electric, hydraulic and air operated hand tools
• Efficiently use standard and precision measuring equipment
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and cleaning of work cells, machines and equipment
• Moving raw and in process materials to work cells and inventory locations
• Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
• Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift driver qualification, preferred
• Experience operating band saws
• Problem solving, troubleshooting and analysis skills
• Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to adjust to sudden work pattern or schedule changes
• Ability to use basic mathmatic skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and fractions
• Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Must stand for prolonged periods
• May stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull or do fine manipulations
• Intermittently bends, twists, and climbs
• Must have adequate sight to read blueprints, work orders and other engineering and manufacturing documents
• Ability to lift medium weight up to 75 lbs.
