Machine Operator - 2Nd Shift

We serve the Aerospace, Automotive, General Industrial, Hydrogen, LNG & Cryogenics, Medical, Midstream & Downstream Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Renewable Energy, Semiconductor, Upstream Oil & Gas, and Water Treatment markets.

Operates assigned machines. Sandblasting parts to smooth and clean their surface. Utilizing ovens to heat and cure materials. Painting and stacking parts for packaging.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read work orders and other work instructions to determine material requirements.
• Performs highly routine or repetitive work on smaller or less complex standardized parts or products.
• Use Measuring devices to check dimension and verify that manufacturing tolerances and quality standards are met. Reports dimensions that our out of tolerance. Re-works non-conforming product.
• Performs additional operations on product such as placing on fixture, cleaning, deburring, sanding, polishing, drying, heating etc. as required.
• Enters production and labor information into system(s) and/or prepares necessary documentation.
• Maintain good housekeeping in work area during and at end of shift.

SUPERVISION

• Works under close supervision and follows detailed written and/or prepares necessary documentation.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have clear understanding of basic math and can read, write and comprehend English (work orders, safety and operations instructions)

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND DEMANDS

• Exposure to manufacturing environment preferred.
• Spends 100% of time in the shop. Standing 90% of time.
• May be exposed to possible shop hazards including heaving machinery, fumes, dust, heat and high pressure and temperatures.
