HIRING 2ND SHIFT MACHINE OPERATOR
IN WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH
NEW PAY RATE
$22.00/HOUR
with a $1.50/hr Shift Differential
$1,500 SIGN-ON BONUS
$300 AFTER 30 DAYS
$500 AFTER 60 DAYS
$700 AFTER 90 DAYS
In this position as a Machine Operator, you will be working in the Tape Department of our production operations. The tape that we make is yarn that is stitched together on a looming machine. You will be expected to maintain a continuous high-quality product from the beginning of the weaving process to completion of product on the reel in a safe and efficient manner.
PAY: This position pays $22.00/hr plus $1.50/hr shift differential. This position is 2nd shift, 3pm-11:15pm.
(Shift differential takes effect after the 1st week of Training)
Schedule:
The schedule is MONDAY-FRIDAY, 3PM-11:15PM.

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:
- Load and maintain required amount of raw materials on reels
- Know and understand different yarn types that are commonly used and their applications
- Check and maintain lube levels in lubricator
- Check and verify that weft and lockstitch are being properly woven into the product
- Program the printers to print required message on product
- Check and maintain fluid levels
- Check and maintain print quality
- Check and maintain measurement markings
- Properly label and/or tag product as it is processed off of the printer
- Must be mechanically inclined and have ability to troubleshoot problems
- Perform best practice quality checks on line and equipment
- Follow all safety requirements of this position
- Abide by all policies and procedures in the associate handbook
- Adhere to all SOP's and GMP's set forth by the company
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area
- Additional duties as required
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school Diploma or GED
- Ability to speak, read and write English, fluently (Bi-Lingual a Plus!)
- Ability to adhere to and respect all Safety Measures and Procedures (SOP's, GMP's)
- Ability to read measuring instruments
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience REQUIRED
- At least 1 year of heavy equipment/machine operating experience REQUIRED
- We will train you for this position but troubleshooting and problem solving skills are a MUST!
- An Updated resume and consistent job history is a Plus!
OCCUPATIONAL AND/OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to lift up to 30 Ibs. with or without reasonable assistance
- Forklift and Pallet Jack experience a plus
- Able to bend and stay in a bent over position for extended periods of time, occasionally
- Must be able to walk and stand on a concrete floor for long periods of time
- This job requires you to be alert and constant movement throughout the shift
*For Tuition reimbursement you must be a full-time employee and complete one continuous year of employment. You will receive $5,000 a year for undergrad and $7,500 a year for grad*
**Amount earned is based on Plant performance in four Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) safety, savings, productivity and teamwork. Employee must be active full-time status during the quarter and at time of payout, with good attendance and no disciplinary action.
