How You'll Perform the Role
Job Summary:
The Lead Machine Trainer (Lead Adjuster) is responsible for training Adjuster Supervisors to meet the standard operating procedures. The Lead Adjusters is also responsible for identifying training gaps and implementing training plans.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Provide coaching and counseling to new and existing Adjuster Supervisors.
- Ensures Good Manufacturing Practices (GM) are followed.
- Encourages, recognizes and rewards good performance.
- Identifies and request discipline of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Train new and existing Adjuster Supervisors to adjust production machines effectively and efficiently.
- Manage training by planning, scheduling and tracking training completion.
- Prepare training materials to provide visual aids and other training resources.
- Assure all work performed is completed in a safe manner with all production crews following Safety/ Housekeeping Procedures.
- Work with Production Shift Supervisor and HR to direct Adjuster Supervisor achieve the highest possible manufacturing performance.
- Assure Adjuster Supervisor are following all Quality/Inspection programs.
What We Need From You
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of two (2) years of lead or supervision experience.
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
- Work overtime as required.
- Ability perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
- Ability to successfully multitask in a fast pace environment
- The commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop.
- Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.
