A job shop is seeking applicants to operate production equipment safely and efficiently to produce quality material that meets customer requirements. These are very physical positions, and no two days will be the same. There are openings on both first and second shifts.
A job shop is seeking applicants to operate production equipment safely and efficiently to produce quality material that meets customer requirements. These are very physical positions, and no two days will be the same. There are openings on both first and second shifts.
Duties:
- Operate all production equipment
- Comply with instructions and review production specifications
- Weigh and measure the pellets for each individual machine run
- Perform start-up and shutdown of equipment as needed
- Report decisions, problems, and questions in a timely manner
- Assist in completing of special projects
- Follow all Quality, Safety, and Environments Procedures and uphold the Code of Conduct Standards
- Keep a clean and safe work area
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have previously worked in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating machines is a plus; training will be provided
- Forklift Certification is preferred
- Must have basic math skills and the ability to read, speak, and write English efficiently
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be safety-conscious with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, while consistently standing and moving all day long
- Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
