Form of workWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machine Learning Configuration Management Specialist to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary data science team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the configuration of Machine Learning projects, ensuring the integrity and consistency of our models throughout an agile development lifecycle, and preferably supporting the generation of MBSE/DODAF artifacts.
General Summary
* Develops and maintains Configuration Management plans for Machine Learning projects
* Implements and manages version control systems for Machine Learning models and datasets
* Collaborates with development teams to integrate Machine Learning models into broader systems
* Conducts rigorous testing of Machine Learning models to ensure performance and accuracy
* Develops comprehensive documentation for Machine Learning Configurations, including model specifications, data pipelines, and deployment strategies
* Facilitates change control processes to manage modifications in Machine Learning models
* Ensures compliance with industry standards and best practices in Configuration Management
* Uses MBSE and/or DODAF methodologies to streamline and optimize Machine Learning workflows

Required Skills
Required Experience
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical or engineering field, or equivalent experience
* Eight years of related experience to include software Configuration Management experience
* Must be able to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI security clearance; US Citizenship required
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Proven experience in software Configuration Management, preferably in a Machine Learning context.
* Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Experience with Machine Learning frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
* Proficient in scripting languages such as Python.
