Lydian Academy Now Hiring Math/Science Teacher/Tutor

Position starts as part time but can become full time.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in mathematics for students
- Provide academic advising and mentoring to students
- Conduct scientific research in the field of mathematics
- Offer tutoring services to students who need additional support
- Manage student behavior and maintain a positive classroom environment
- Utilize library services and resources to enhance student learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to design instructional materials and strategies
- Provide support and accommodations for students with special education needs

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Teaching certification or licensure in Mathematics
- Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and principles
- Experience in research laboratory or conducting research in mathematics
- Ability to design and implement effective instructional strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and ability to work with diverse student populations
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
