POSITION SUMMARY:
- Under general supervision of the Director, Clinical Manager, and R.N., the Licensed Vocational Nurse (L.V.N.) delivers patient care within L.V.N. scope of practice to the ages of the patients served. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for all patient groups.
Education/License/Certification:
- Must have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of California.
- Must have and maintain current BLS Certification or obtain within orientation process prior to hands-on patient care.
- Must have IV Therapy and Blood Withdrawal Certification or obtain within 6 months of hire into role.
Experience/Skills:
- 1 Year Acute care experience Required.
