Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Sales Associate to join our team at Brooklyn Bleu Vintage Jewelry. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, exceptional interpersonal abilities, and a genuine love for vintage fashion. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing an unforgettable shopping experience for our customers while driving sales and fostering a positive and inviting atmosphere within our boutique.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in exploring our collection of vintage jewelry.
- Provide personalized styling advice and recommendations based on customers' preferences and needs.
- Engage customers in meaningful conversations to build rapport and create a memorable shopping experience.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our products, including their history, materials, and craftsmanship.
- Effectively communicate the unique stories behind each piece to enhance the customer's appreciation and connection to our jewelry.
- Actively promote sales and achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including restocking shelves and conducting regular stock checks.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and contribute to the overall success of the boutique.
- Stay informed about current fashion trends, vintage jewelry styles, and industry developments to better serve our clientele.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Retail Sales, preferably in a boutique or fashion-related environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Passion for vintage fashion and a keen eye for detail.
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Flexibility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
