Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Lumper/Unloader. Lumpers support our trucking manager by assisting with daily unloading, inventory tracking, and organizing trucks onsite at festivals.Duties:
Assisting with unloading trucks or containers: Using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand, you will help remove goods from trucks or containers.
Duties:
- Organizing and inventory management: You will be responsible for coordinating, note-taking, and inventory management for daily deliveries at our event kitchens.
- Loading trucks or containers: You will also assist in loading goods onto trucks or containers for shipment, ensuring they are stacked safely and securely.
- Inspecting for damage: You may be required to inspect goods for damage and report any issues to your supervisors.
- Maintaining cleanliness: Keeping the work area clean and organized is essential for safety and efficiency
Skills:
- Ability to lift 55+ pounds for the duration of your 6-8 hour shift.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment, ideal but not necessary
- Proficient in the operation of heavy equipment, including forklifts, ideal but not necessary
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Fluent in English

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
