This opportunity is in the Claims Department.
Our Claims department oversees both high-exposure workers’ compensation and liability claims. As an unbundled carrier, we work actively with third-party administrators (TPAs) and self-administered accounts to assist in guiding claims to a successful resolution. As an excess carrier, the catastrophic claims we handle keep our group challenged, but the uniqueness provides plenty of growth opportunities.
Role Description:
In the role of LPT Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for various technical support tasks related to claim assistant duties and the processing of Loss Portfolio Transfer (LPT) claim data.
Your day-to-day responsibilities as a LPT Operations Analyst will include:
- Review LPT Database and EDI reports for claim coding corrections and identify claims for setup in Claim Center as well as setup or transfer new LPT claims in Claim Center as part of new business on-boarding
- Maintain DBA War Hazard desk to monitor Department of Labor recoveries on claims with no future exposure
- Update and maintain various LPT tracking workbooks
- Assist with onboarding of new LPT business, including Master Service Agreement Addendum, TPA Service Fee Letter, TPA Service instruction and setup of Escrow account of claims funding

Education:
- High School Diploma Required
Required Qualifications:
- 5 – 7 years of office experience
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple items simultaneously
- Must work well independently with the ability to take direction from various individuals
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Insurance industry experience preferred

It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience.
