LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as an Instructor for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Phlebotomy, and EKG programs. Position: LPN Instructor
Programs: CNA, Phlebotomy, PCT and EKG

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive instructional materials for CNA, Phlebotomy, and EKG programs.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions, ensuring students gain practical skills and knowledge.
• Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
• Collaborate with the curriculum development team to enhance course content and materials.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in nursing, phlebotomy, and EKG procedures.

Qualifications:

• Current LPN license in Connecticut.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing, with a focus on CNAs, Phlebotomy, and EKG procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Teaching or training experience is a plus.

- Knowledge of medical terminology, patient care systems, and standards of practice
- Experience with medication administration and dosage calculations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations
