Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, utilizes the nursing process in the care of infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients experiencing both acute and chronic changes in the normal health process.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
Licensure: Current LPN License in the State of Georgia, BLS CPR required
Experience: Three years experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Emergency Care Department preferred.
Skills: Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Licensed Practical Nursing in Georgia. Participates in
planning one (1) inservice for LPN's in the Emergency Care Department and participates in collection of Quality
Improvement data for the department. Certification in Blood Glucose Monitoring.
