Lot Attendant (Union) – Sun Valley, CA
The Lot Attendant is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service experience by interacting directly with customers. You will check-in units upon return, show customers to their rental unit, and ensure our rental fleet meets company standards before departure.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the vehicle meets company standards before departure.
- Inspect vehicles for damages and assets with proper photographic documentation before leaving for rent and upon return.
- Ensure each vehicle has all its required DOT/BIT information.
- Ensure each vehicle has proper safety equipment in place and is current when the vehicle is leaving and upon return.
- Report all potential new damage for review.
- Assist with placement of smaller vehicles.
- Wash and clean vehicles as needed.
- Work well with customers.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Report all issues to the supervisor.
- Regularly audit asset keys.
Requirements:
- High School graduated or equivalent job experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of the English language.
- Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
- Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
- Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Time management skills.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors.
- Must have open availability, flexibility, and able to work various shifts and overtime.
- The candidate selected for this position will undergo employment verification, criminal background check, and drug screening.

Activities include regularly working in outside weather conditions, exposure to extremes of temperature, visibility, wet and/or humid conditions and vibrations. Noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Dust, mechanical hazards, moving objects, operating vehicle, and shift work.
