JOB TITLE: Long Term Substitute First Grade Teacher (EduStaff)
LOCATION: Chapman Elementary School
CURRENT WAGE: $140/day (for Long Term assignments)
EXPECTED TIME FRAME: Mid-September - January 8
REPORTS TO: Building Principal
Qualifications:

• 60+ college credits required
• Valid and Current Michigan Teacher Certificate preferred
• Previous teacher or guest teaching experience preferred

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, implement and document high quality instruction, assessments, and interventions to meet the needs of all students in absence of classroom teacher
• Honor and carry out district initiatives, professional development, and curriculum
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents, colleagues, and administration
• Participate in a Professional Learning Community setting by collaborating regularly with team of teachers, special area teachers and special education teacher
• Integrate technology effectively in a variety of forms on a daily basis as appropriate
• Maintain consistent attendance and report to work on time as expected
• Attend relevant meetings and professional development required for this position

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk over extended periods of time in a work day
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time in a work day, and to sit/stand several times in short periods of time
