Medical Recruitment Strategies is looking for aLong-term Care Pharmacy Technician in Auburn Maine
Job Details
The tech would mostly sit in a cubicle and be on the computer and phone prepping scrips and talking with patients and doctor’s offices.
- The full-time hours would be four 10-hour shifts Mon-Fri, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., with weekend rotations Sat and Sun, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Part-time hours would be two 10-hour shifts 10-hour shifts Mon-Fri, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., with weekend rotations Sat and Sun, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent with willingness to attend continuing education related to the position
- State of Maine Pharmacy Technician Registration (can be done after hire)
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (to be completed within one year of hire)
- Proficient general office skills (typing, computer, fax, filing, and multiple phone lines)
- Insurance billing knowledge preferred
- One to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting preferred
