Job Summary: As a Long-Distance Move Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating all aspects of long-distance relocations for clients using a containerized moving system. This role requires excellent organizational skills, effective communication, and a keen attention to detail. You will work closely with clients, moving teams, and third-party service providers to ensure a seamless and stress-free moving experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the moving process.
- Provide clear and timely communication regarding the relocation timeline, procedures, and expectations.
- Throughout the lead process, provide quotes for all long-distance related moves via, phone, email, texting and web-based applications.
- Coordination and Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive moving plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Coordinate logistics with franchisees, customers, and vendors for packing, loading, transportation, and unloading of belongings.

- Vendor Management:
- Liaise with moving companies, transportation providers, and other service vendors to secure necessary resources.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure cost-effective and reliable services.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, agreements, and moving details.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Problem Resolution:
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the moving process.
- Provide proactive solutions to minimize disruptions and meet client satisfaction.
- Budget Management:
- Assist clients in understanding and managing the costs associated with their relocation.
- Monitor and control expenses to stay within budgetary constraints.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the safe and secure transportation of clients' belongings.
- Conduct post-move evaluations and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in logistics, coordination, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of moving industry regulations and practices.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., logistics software, customer relationship management tools, Microsoft 365/Office).
- Highly coachable and positive attitude
- Personable and professional telephone manner
- Reliable with a high-level initiative/self-motivation
- Ability to contribute both as an individual and as a team player
- Desire to succeed in a competitive environment
Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Working Conditions: This role may involve occasional travel, irregular hours, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
