POSITION SUMMARY
The Logistics Supervisor oversees the movement, distribution and shipment of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods by supervising the internal transfers and domestic transportation while upholding customer satisfaction.

- Assist the Transportation Manager in day to day Logistics operations to ensure customer requirements are met/exceeded, and collaborate regularly with the cross-functional team to improve the customer experience.
- Plan and coordinate the internal transfers, and the delivery and transportation of domestic orders to customers throughout the U.S.
- Plan and provide the daily schedule for the drivers and the warehouse in collaboration with the Transportation Manager.
- Manage all aspects of logging orders, routing, shipping and tracking outbound orders.
- Inform transporters for freight pick-up and ensure that cargo is routed appropriately.
- Prepare and verify the Bill of Lading (BOL).
- Monitor truck driver performance and keep track of their attainment rate.
- Assign tasks to the shuttle driver effectively to ensure productivity and efficiency is optimized.
- Forge strong partnerships and collaborate closely with external parties and internal departments (such as Sales Operations, Warehouse, Procurement, Sales & Marketing) to ensure streamlined and efficient operation.
- Monitor drop shipment process (FedEx, UPS, samples, etc.).
- Conduct research on the most appropriate shipping route and prepare the shipping and logistics documentation.
- Keep track of shipping status and provide updates for customers.
- Ensure complete orders are transported to meet distributor/customer needs. Ensure all orders are shipping on time and report schedule changes to appropriate parties.
- Maintain the transportation efficiency (KPI) in line with target.
- Generate reports to identify potential opportunities for cost saving and ensure consistent service quality for Over the Road (OTR) customers.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will supervise a team of drivers. The Logistics Supervisor must carry out some supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work.
QUALIFICATIONS

- REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS and EXPERIENCES
- Associate's degree is required; Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related discipline is highly preferred.
- 3-5 years of hands-on professional experience in logistics; or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 3 years of experience working with brokers (3PL), freight forwarder and trucking company.
- Solid knowledge of the flow of supply chain and logistic processes (from order, invoices, to cash). Knowledge of Import/Export is advantageous.
- Experience planning intermodal transportation, coordinating logistics and shipping directly to large retail chains and distributors, and handling high volume order fulfillment.
- Must be self-motivated, results-oriented, and eager to take on challenges and accomplish goals on time.
- Good interpersonal skills to build effective teams to drive results.
- Able to define problems through data gathering and analysis to establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (SAP experience is preferred).

- The individual must possess excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.

- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts to compute rates, discounts, percentages, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
