This position is responsible for assisting with the processing, monitoring and reporting on freight claims from start to finish. Responsible for freight carrier invoice processing and auditing to ensure accurate coding and timely flow of payables.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Handle and process all freight and damage claims. Including put not limited to UPS, FedEx, truckload carriers, LTL carriers, 3PLs, and freight brokers
Freight claims documentation, freight claims processing, claims settlement, damage freight inspections, etc.
Handle and process freight invoices in a timely manner
Code and audit freight invoices and uploads
Monitor, process, and coordinate the shipping and receiving functions of our 3PL warehouse
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:
Excellent customer service, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer operations
Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to make swift, sound judgment
