Logistics Specialist I – 1st Shift
New Bern, NC / Full-time
Your responsibilities
To process inbound receipt, warehousing, and distribution of appliance spare and repair parts and components, small appliances, and accessories. Receive, place into inventory, and move parts to stock location. Utilize complex logistic systems software to ensure timely and accurate material receipt, storage, and distribution documentation. Ensure customer orders are properly and timely picked, packaged, and shipped. Schedule and track shipping methods to ensure efficient and cost-effective customer deliveries.
Job Functions:
- Operate automated systems to support inventor control, warehouse documentation, and shipping.
- Implement procedures to ensure timely scheduling, documentation, and confirmation of customer order shipments.
- Receive, verify quantities, process, and inspect receipts of appliance parts and components.
- Maintain accurate inventories and stock locations, and accurately process customer orders.
- Perform proper packaging procedures to ensure undamaged shipments of all customer orders.
- Perform cycle counting as required to verify inventory quantities.
- Maintain files of received material by vendor
- Order, maintain, and monitor packaging material to ensure proper stock at all times.
- Unload, move, and transport material and equipment by hand and with material handling equipment as required.
- Ensure accurate stock locations and on-line data entry.
- Help direct and train Material Handlers as instructed by Team Leader and Supervisor.
- Act as backup for Team Leader.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Your profile
- High-School Diploma – Required
- 0-2 Years of Experience (Warehouse and Logistics processes related to manufacturing) – Required Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Warehouse management and/or distribution floor experience in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Ability to organize, maintain and file documents.
- Inventory Control knowledge.
- Must be computer literate and be able to use complex logistic computer software to include SAP R3 and DMS.
- Operate with extreme accuracy and work independently utilizing above average written and verbal skills.
- Forklift certification required.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Your Pay & Benefits
The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
