Logistics: Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Requirements

• Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying accuracy of contents and inspecting for any damages
• Label creation for FedEx, USPS, and Malca
• Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling
• Assist in loading and unloading transfer vehicle with merchandise, as needed, using safe lifting techniques
• Order supplies for 4 store locations and coordinate delivery of products to stores on a bi-weekly basis
• Paper ordering
• All Razny logo paperwork
• Receipt paper
• Repair paper & envelopes
• Appraisal paper

o Cleaning Products

Day-to-Day

Morning:

• Schedule same day pick-ups for merchandise - with FedEx, Malca
• Package anything left in the shipping bin in the company vault
• Receives packages from FedEx, USPS, Malca, etc… and distributes to the appropriate departments

Midday:

o Organize and plan store supply deliveries for the week

• Store locations will email needs for the week

End of Day:

• Work on updating spreadsheets of what was sent out to each store location on a weekly basis

Weekly:

• Go to the Razny storage, located in Arlington Heights, to take inventory of gifting products we have in stock.
• The candidate will need to be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
• The candidate will need to be comfortable with making frequent trips from Arlington Heights and back to Addison
• Keep small storage at the Addison location (paper-products mostly) for rush orders

Seasonally:

• Gift-wrapping for owners and/or Sales staff if asked
• Coordinates labels that the Marketing department requests for gifting from Razny to companies and/or clients

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a similar role preferred
• Proficient in using Excel
• Basic math skills for inventory counting and order verification
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate shipment processing
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
