Responsibilities:
Prospect and identify potential customers within the LTL Trucking Industry by leveraging various sources such as leads, databases, industry research, and networking.
Conduct outbound sales visits, calls, and emails to engage with prospects, understand their business needs, and present our services as a solution.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their unique requirements and tailoring solutions to meet their needs.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth, including pricing, promotions, and discounts.
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential customers, highlighting the benefits and value of our services.
Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and stay ahead of the competition.
Regularly achieve and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer service, and logistics, to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
Continuously enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry expertise through training and professional development opportunities.
Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
Strong understanding of the LTL Trucking Industry, including knowledge of industry players, terminology, and market trends.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence customers effectively.
Self-motivated and target-driven, with a strong desire to achieve and exceed sales goals.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to drive results.
Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and provide creative solutions.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Flexibility to travel occasionally to customer meetings and industry events, as required.
