Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Logistician, Cross Domain Server Set (CDSS) Site Lead for the Army Division.

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION: APG in Aberdeen, MD

JOB STATUS: Full-time

TRAVEL: Estimated at 20%

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Engineering. 16 years total logistics experience or a certified Professional Logistician (CPL) certificate with (12) years related experience can substituted for educational requirement.
• Years of Experience: A minimum of 12 years of direct experience coordinating with user units, CDS engineers, Security teams, and unit maintainers, to support the installation and testing of the Tactical CDSS. 
• Current Top Secret Clearance, SCI Eligible. US Citizens only
• Certification: N/A

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

A minimum of 12 years of direct experience coordinating with user units, CDS engineers, Security teams, and unit maintainers, to support the installation and testing of the Tactical CDSS. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide daily reports to the CDSS PD to ensure PM level awareness and support.
• Support the CDS engineers by providing oversight, logistics support, troubleshooting assistance, and unit updates for continuity of the installation to prevent unnecessary interruptions. 
• Responsible to monitor onsite effort and work closely with Fielding coordinator to ensure all necessary preparations are in place to support the CDS installation. 
• Directly responsible to provide support to the installation engineers, security team, and IFS engineers ensuring that any problems encountered are addressed as necessary to ensure a successful event. 
• Responsible to ensure access to all system documentation in support of the unit or the CDS team during the installation, training, and testing.
