Job Description
Compensation: $16+/hr
We’re looking for a dynamic and personable Logistics Clerk to handle messenger duties and oversee over-the-counter shipping. In this position, you’ll need to become proficient in two software applications. One of these applications focuses on messenger deliveries, while the other is tailored for over-the-counter tasks. These include managing product inventory, monitoring product availability, ensuring order completion, and handling paperwork and documentation for FedEx, USPS, UPS, and DHL packages and parcels.
An essential aspect of this role involves maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor when dealing with customers both over the phone and in person. Familiarity with the MTA system and local roadways will be beneficial.
A basic understanding of computer operations is a prerequisite. Your responsibilities will involve receiving and documenting delivery requests, then coordinating with a messenger to carry out the delivery. Given our manageable workload, you’ll have ample time to grasp the responsibilities of the position. Please consider proximity to our Park Slope location when determining your availability.
Hourly compensation starts at $16/hr with reasonable raises based on individual performance.
