As a Logistics Associate, you will provides support to manage controls around receipt, storage and shipment of Raw Materials and Finished Goods in a cGMP environment.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following
- Process all MERPS related transactions including Goods Receipts, Transfer Orders, Destroy Orders, Inventory adjustments, etc.
- Complete inspections and maintain records for truck inspection, material handling equipment and department safety inspections, etc.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to move stock or organize materials
- Perform receipt and delivery of parcels to all site personnel
- Ensure inventory levels remain accurate in SAP and perform periodic inventory counts
- Complete all training assignments in a timely manner
- Train new warehouse staff on use of all GSK systems and practices including MERPS, MyLearning, CDMS, safety policies and cGMP requirements
- Execute the shipping of Bulk Products following established procedures to insure quality integrity and on time delivery
- Arrange for removal of Hazardous waste from the warehouse and help enforce proper labeling of Hazardous waste material
- Keep Warehouse SOPs updated and accurate, ensuring area adheres to all Zoning and 5S implementation
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years experience in warehouse environment, inventory control systems
- 2+ years working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Material handling experience including fork lift training
- Understanding of GSK processes and Systems
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge in team building and customer care
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Basic computer literacy; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Basic reading, writing and communication skills
