Position Title: Logistics and Facilities Support Associate
Summary: To safely transport, load, and unload furniture, maintain delivery vehicles, and assist with facility and maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
- Prior to employment, the following must be addressed:
- Required to complete a criminal history background check to prove that the individual has not been convicted of a crime or a disorderly person’s offense in accordance with N.J.S.A 18A:6-7.1.
- Provide evidence that health is adequate to fulfill the job functions and responsibilities with reasonable accommodation pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 12101 and in accordance with N.J.A.C. 6A:32-6.2.
- Pass the state-required Mantoux Intradermal Tuberculin Test as required by N.J.A.C. 6A:32-6.3.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Have demonstrated work experience as a driver with knowledge of relevant regulations.
- Ability to operate various delivery vehicles, such as box trucks, vans, and pick-up trucks.
- Capable of lifting heavy objects and performing physical tasks associated with loading and unloading deliveries.
- Able to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and stretching during shifts up to 8 hours long.
- Proficient in lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving boxes weighing up to 75 pounds each.
- Ability to navigate stairs while moving goods.
- Skilled in assembling/disassembling furniture and providing minor repairs as needed.

Performance Responsibilities:
- Transport furniture by picking up and delivering items promptly and efficiently.
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and in compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with school custodial team members during loading and unloading at schools.
- Ensure accurate loading and unloading of products using appropriate equipment, verifying items beforehand.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and storage warehouses.
- Demonstrate adaptability in various conditions through hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software.
- Keep a valid regular driver's license with no recent moving violations.
- Conduct regular inspections on iLearn-owned vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns, performing preventative maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness of the truck cabin and sweep at the end of each shift.
- Organize and maintain accessibility of furniture in the warehouse.
- Ensure the intact transport and delivery of all items.
- Assist with other facility needs, such as maintenance repairs, snow removal, ground keeping, and janitorial duties as required.
Reports to: Asset Manager
Terms of Employment: 12 Month Employee
Evaluation:
Evaluation will be conducted by the Asset Manager.
