Modern City is a loft management and design company that is responsible for some of Detroit's most unique and modern places to live. We are currently expanding and looking for energetic team members who are excited about the city and have a passion for experiencing cool, new spaces.
Essentially, we spend our time in 3rds:
1/3 Selling and Leasing Lofts and Condos specifically in Downtown Detroit.
1/3 Managing Day to Day Operations of Loft Buildings and Condo Buildings.
1/3 Designing and Rehabilitating Residential Buildings.
Qualified applicant will have the opportunity to engage all aspects of the business to truly learn how buildings work and what it takes to make a building successful.
Applicant Qualities:

Has a general knowledge of the goings on in the city
Interested in Lofts and Urban Living

Can operate a computer and navigate the Internet efficiently

Updating and Maintaining Ads
The Jist of the Job:
Days can occasionally be hectic with a lot of phone calls and running around, so you will need to be able to roll with the punches but for the most part we run a laid back professional environment. The main responsibility of this position is to respond to leads (email and phone), schedule showings and conduct lease signings. The majority of the work will take place in the field; i.e meeting tenants and future tenants at the various properties and showing spaces.
Initial Responsibilities:
Prepare leases, move-in documents, memo's, etc. . .Building deliveries and pick-upsAnswering emails and phone calls from potential tenantsScheduling showingsExecuting move-ins Maintaining wait-listProcessing renewals
Applicant must work toward and receive Real Estate License within 90 days.
Hours & Compensation: 20 hours a week; may be flexible; may be able to work from home at times. Potential promotion to fulltime after 3-6 months.
Compensation based on experience ($12/hr - $15/hr)
