Odyssey Lodge is a luxury wilderness adventure resort in Kachemak Bay near Homer, Alaska (see: odysseylodge.com ). We are launching the lodge on June 1st. We are in the process of staffing for the Season now and have created a new position that will have the following primary responsibilities: Maintain the Cloudbeds lodge management system. (Hands-on fluency with Cloudbeds and Whistle is helpful). Handle bookings. Work with our Marketing Team on promotional campaigns to build awareness and bookings for the lodge. Interface with Travel Agents on guest bookings and logistics. Welcome and check-in guests when they arrive. Introduce them to the lodge buildings and grounds and show them to their cabins. Interface with local suppliers of services like water taxi, sport fishing, bear viewing and other adventure activities. Attend trade shows.
This is a year-round job with May through September worked on site; with time-off and some flexibility on remote work during off-season. Odyssey Lodge is located on a remote peninsula in true wilderness, accessible by boat, yet only 5 miles from Homer, a very cool small town.
