We're looking for an amazing Guest Services professional to fill this role, which is based in our Juneau office. You'll be responsible for managing a seasonal team of approximately 7 Supervisors and help ensure overall management coverage for the entire division. During the summer season, it is a seven day per week operation with varying schedules each day so requires flexibility on the part of the Assistant Manager. This is a new position to the division and will offer great support to all departments within the location

Responsibilities:
- Supports the local team during the operating season and performs "Manager on Duty" responsibilities
- Assists with recruiting & hiring all seasonal positions within the division
- Oversees training & management of all seasonal Operations Supervisors
- Assists with building/auditing allocations
- Assists with dispatch creation
- Oversees vendor & ship communications relating to tour counts, scheduling & logistics
- Assists with local SAY & HESS initiatives
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
- Preferred minimum - 2 year of work experience
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in a business environment is preferred.
- Ability to clearly communicate, verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees, management, and customers.
Abilities, Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in the use of computer business applications, with working knowledge of computerized reservations systems, Excel and Word.
- The ability to prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment. You must also have the ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, supervise and manage staff.
- The ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
- Demonstrate an ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to communicate, coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments, management, and staff.
- Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
- You must have a current, valid driver's license with a clean driving record. A Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be requested.
