In-house call shift starts at 3pm and runs to 7am
Plus a 24 -hour regular weekend shift, Saturday 7am - Sunday 7am
Clinical Information:
Anesthetizing Sites: 12 ORs/9 NORA
Number of Surgical Cases per Year: 9,000
Anesthesia Model: 9MD / 16 APP
MD:CRNA Ratio: 1:3. Care team model. Physicians do 99% supervision. Self performing cases is uncommon. Physicians are expected to be present for Induction and Emergence, participate in post op-care, participate in pre-op evaluation of patient. This is a hands on practice
Types of Cases: Level II Trauma, Ortho, Spine, Vascular, limited Neuro, Endo, EP Lab,
No OB or transplants
Cardiac Case Load: With TAVRs, mitral clips, CABG, etc.: 10-12/week. 40-50/month: EP, watchman: 80/month
MDs will have a CRNA for the general OR/Trauma/IR cases
EMR: Medaxion (for anesthesia charting)
Meditech for orders & reviewing patient records
Required:
DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
Current Flu Vaccine
Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
Active FL License
Must be board certified or board eligible
