Locum Tenens Pediatric Opening In Edenton, Nc

Medstaff is assisting with Outpatient Pediatric coverage with shared Call for a client located in Edenton, NC.

• Looking for a Board Certified Pediatrician with NC license, DEA, BLS, PALS, NRP and recent Pediatric experience
• Will be a mix of outpatient and inpatient (call) January 2024-June 2024
• M-F, 830am-5pm, 20 patients per day in the clinic
• With overnight call once per week and weekend call, once per month
• Average inpatient census is about one baby born per day
• Will only respond to a code if it is in the nursery
• Required to attend C-sections if requested by the OB provider
• No ICU, CCM or ER Backup required
• EMR is EPIC
• Duties include: Onsite lab, in house Circumcisions, ear irrigation, minor suturing, Covid/Sick clinic, POC testing for strep, Flu and RSV, routine well child exams and vaccines (Covid vaccines for ages 5-18)
